Lake Magazine covers the hottest information on the Lake Michigan area.
Musicians enter their craft not seeking the limelight but because they love music. Music edifies their soul, speaking to them in ways nothing else does. The ease in which they play belies the years of near constant practice – though it’s all too often a fruitless craft, save the prodigious melodies that come from their instrument. The financial benefits are rarely adequate compensation for their decades of mastery. But sometimes, just sometimes, it all comes together.

In this issue, we introduce you to three musicians who have mastered their craft and who are not only receiving critical acclamations, they’re recognized by local and world audiences alike. They’re jazz, they’re blues, they’re Samba, they’re classical. They give us the music to live our lives by, whatever our mood. So sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of music.
